It’s been a big hit at indie film festivals and the like, and last night Charlize Theron brought “Battle in Seattle” to the Big Apple.
The “Italian Job” hottie was spotted hamming it up on the red carpet outside the Tribeca Grand Screening Room at the Cinema Society and Dior Beauty-hosted event.
And Miss Theron looked ravishing in a red one-shoulder knee-length dress teamed with a pair of high-heeled sandals as she posed with her grey suit-clad beau Stuart Townsend, also the director of the film.
Charlize told press that her boyfriend Stuart worked very hard on “Battle” in order to get it just right. “This is a great night for him. This took like five or six years of his life.”
And she says she had to work a little magic in order to secure her role. “I didn’t want to come across too desperate, so I tried to be subtle to [land my part].”
